Where to find free carpet for the Holiday Season (Christmas - New Years - Thanksgiving)

Where to find free carpet for the Holiday Season (Christmas - New Years - Thanksgiving)

If you want to find free carpet for the holiday season, its rather easy to do. Just go to your local carpet store and steal some. No, but really, so many people are asking me about free carpet that i had to tell you about it. There are rolls and rolls of carpet that goes disgarded every year. Fabric mills and manufacturers sometimes throw away 20% of the carpet they manufacture. What are these throwaway pieces called? "Remnants" is the correct industry term for them. And here's the most exciting thing. The remnants are so cheap that you can get many of them for free or so cheap they might as well be free because the store is technically paying YOU to roll the remnants up and tied them to your car. What a deal! What a country! Only in the USA!

  6. That sounds like an incredible deal because carpet can be expensive these days. I will have to look into getting new carpet this next holiday season. It would be nice to replace the carpet that the last owner had because they had pets. There are only a few spots around the house, but they are still eye sores.

  8. There is such thing as free carpet? I never would have thought of just going in and asking for some. It makes sense, but when I've tried that with food places after their closing hours, they deny me.

  9. I had no idea that they discard carpeting. Do they just throw it into the garbage? I am wondering, once I get the "free" carpeting, who is going to install it? I have no idea how to be handy.

  10. Something free is always worth saving up for. I'm glad that I stumbled upon this article. I'm in the middle of a remodeling project in my home. The carpets are all being replaced. It would be great if I could get the carpet for free, that way I can have a professional come and install it for me. I would do it myself, but I'm not that skilled when it comes to carpet. http://jkpflooring.com/aboutus.php
